Full Perpetual Warranty Guarantee
All Cross writing instruments and desk set
penholder mechanisms are unquestionably guaranteed against mechanical failure,
regardless of age.
Any Cross product or part requiring service under
this warranty will be repaired or replaced at no charge when received at our
factory from the consumer (postage and insurance are the responsibility of the
consumer, and shipping and handling fees may apply). Any such product that is no
longer in production and cannot be repaired will be replaced by a comparable
Cross product. Leads, erasers, ink refills and stylus tips exhausted in the
course of normal use, and emblems and other customized decorations, are excluded
from this warranty; also excluded are fountain pen nibs and other parts damaged
from impact, unreasonable use or obvious abuse. The Cross guarantee extends our
assurance of a lifetime of writing pleasure to every owner of a Cross writing
instrument.
This warranty gives you the specific legal rights, and you may have other
rights which vary from state to state or jurisdiction to jurisdiction.
Applicable to stylus tips: In no event shall Cross be liable for incidental
or consequential damages of any kind or character including, without limitation,
physical damage to the surface of personal digital assistants or hand-held PCs.
Some states and jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of incidental or
consequential damages, so the above exclusions may not apply to you.
Accessory Full One-Year Warranty
All Cross personal accessories are
unquestionably guaranteed against mechanical failure and defects in workmanship
for one year from the date of purchase.
Any Cross accessory or part
requiring service under this warranty will be repaired or replaced at no charge
when received from the consumer at our factory. Postage and insurance are the
responsibility of the consumer, and shipping and handling fees may apply. Any
such product that is no longer in production and cannot be repaired will be
replaced with a comparable Cross product. Logos, engraving and other decorations
are excluded from this warranty, as are parts damaged from impact, unreasonable
use or obvious abuse, and materials which become worn in the course of normal
use. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other
rights which vary from state to state or jurisdiction to jurisdiction.
Timepiece Limited Ten-Year Warranty
All A.T. Cross timepieces are warranted by A.T.
Cross to the original owner to be free from defects in material and workmanship
under normal use for a period of ten years from date of
receipt.
During the warranty period the product will be repaired or
replaced (with the same or similar model) at our option, without charge for
ether parts or labor.
Excluded from this warranty are timepiece bracelet, strap, crystal, case,
battery, any watch accessory, emblems or customized decoration and watches or
parts damaged from impact, unreasonable use or obvious abuse. Damage not
resulting from a defect in material or workmanship, damage caused by tampering
or damage resulting from repairs not performed by A.T. Cross are not covered by
this warranty.
A.T. Cross disclaims liability for consequential damages for breach of any
express or implied warranty, including warranty of merchantability, with respect
to this watch. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of
consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
A.T. Cross limits the duration of any implied warranty, including the implied
warranty of merchantability, to ten years from the date of receipt. Some states
do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts so the above
limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights
and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state and
jurisdiction to jurisdiction.
WARNING:
Pen caps can obstruct breathing. Keep out of mouth. This product is not intended for children.
Note:
We do not accept any returns for any customized items, i.e. engraving, debossing, etc.
If
you need repairs or service for your Cross Quality Writing Instrument,
please follow these instructions:
- You can either return the pen for repair by mail or go to our repair centres directly.
- If the return is by mail, please include a check for HK$35 made out to A.T. Cross (Asia Pacific) Limited to cover shipping and handling fees. Note: watches should not be sent via mail to prevent damage during shipping. Please drop watches off at our office for repair.
- If the writing instrument is SENTIMENTAL to you for some reason, please note this on your correspondence. (Our warranty policy may make us choose to
replace a writing instrument as opposed to repairing it. If your unit is sentimental to you, we want to be sure we send back your unit.)
