Cross Townsend Pens
A tribute to our company's namesake Alonzo Townsend Cross, this is the masterpiece of the
Cross Collection. It perfectly combines the art of the jeweler with the most advanced
technology to be found in a modern writing instrument.
In one of his first Presidential acts following his inauguration, President George Bush signed a
series of executive orders and inaugural documents with
several Cross Townsend® Midnight Blue Lacquer Selectip® pens. The pens were engraved with
President Bush's signature on the cap and the Presidential seal on the clip.
Affinity Series:
When matter and energy collide, a remarkable pen is formed. Introducing the Cross Townsend Affinity Series.
On its pure brass case an intricate pattern is carved, replicating the artistry of the craftsman’s design. The completed barrel is readied and multiple coats of water-clear lacquer applied. Then a solid dye is catalyzed into vapor, which infiltrates and fuses to the hardened lacquer shell. The result is a remarkable reflection of light and color beaming from every invisible molecule below the pen’s surface.
